ABOUT EVENT

Reinventing Education with Creativity and Innovation

Technology can be one of the powerful tools for transforming learning. It can help affirm and advance relationships between educators and students, reinvent approaches to learning and collaboration, and adapt learning experiences to meet the needs of all learners.

One of the most prominent constituents of digital transformation is the benefit of profound learning. Students will be able to hone their traits like resilience, perseverance and strength of purpose with the new innovations.

With so much going in favor of digital media, it is also important to prepare them for the threats that are a part of this emerging educational trend.

To cultivate the desire of learning and foster creativity among children, educators need to create an environment that supports key areas; problem-solving, idea development, and a sense of individuality. The first step in creating an innovative environment is to realize that learning is a social practice and children learn by interacting.

Incorporating innovation in education means being willing to think outside of the box and take a new approach to teaching and learning. Training should be geared towards teaching children to think in ways that lead to innovation. After all, creativity is as important in education as literacy and we should treat it with the same status.

What attendees will learn

Adobe India, in association with Elets Technomedia, has kept four key sessions led by renowned educational leadership researchers, industry experts, and Government dignitaries. It covers different and important aspects of “Reinventing Education with Creativity and Innovation” in the 21st century. The different sessions are designed to cater to various stakeholders involved in education at different levels.

A large number of participants from universities, colleges, schools of India and abroad represented by Top Management, Principals and NGOs are expected to participate in this Education Leadership Summit. The delegates are experienced educators from all different sectors of education and are authorities in their fields of expertise.
The sessions will explore the vision of education that leaders hold for the future. Representatives from top organizations and the government, along with school leaders, will examine whether today’s education system is equipped to meet the growing aspirations of young India, and the role of technology in classrooms of the future.

Sessions will focus on innovative developments and best practices in education today in areas of creativity, methods for student assessment, classroom innovations, teacher training, and alternative methods of imparting education, all of which will aid our movement towards this vision. The sessions are aimed to understand the current policies that we have in place, their implications for the education space and the gaps in the system, with emphasis on the need to focus more on outcomes.
